Draft regional NRM Plan on public consultation
The natural resources of the Northern and Yorke Region are our heritage and our future. They support business enterprise and local economies, and must be protected and preserved for today and into the future.
A draft Natural Resources Management (NRM) Plan has been prepared to guide the sustainable management of our region’s precious natural resources.
This important document is now open for public consultation until 22 December 2008. This is your chance to participate in the development of the Plan and help to frame a healthy future for our resources and our communities.
The consultation includes regional information booths; a series of workshops for environment, community, industry and farmers; Government and peak body briefings; and a regional councils workshop.
Your feedback is valuable and will help to determine the final content of the NRM Plan. To view the Plan, find details of consultation events, or to provide comments about the Plan, please visit the NRM Plan section of this website.
