Our regional NRM Plan

The Northern and Yorke NRM Plan is a strategic guide for the management of land, water, biodiversity, marine and coastal environments in our region
The Plan aims to ensure that together we protect and enhance natural ecosystems, and sustain primary production, local economies, social and community well-being.
While a 50-year vision is an integral part of the NRM Plan, it also features key milestones against which progress will be determined including:
• resource condition targets that identify outcomes within a 20-year timeframe; and
• management action targets with clear and measureable objectives over a five-year period.
Under each target, specific strategies and actions provide detail and clarity to a wide range of projects dealing with natural resources.
The draft NRM Plan has four Volumes and you are welcome to view or download them at these links
