The future belongs to those who plan for it!
There is nothing more certain.

Our future as a region depends on our ability to embrace an effective plan to protect our precious natural resources.
That’s why we’ve developed a draft Natural Resources Management (NRM) Plan for a final round of community consultation and input.
What are natural resources? They’re our essential assets such as the soils that support our agricultural productivity, the water that sustains plants and animals, native fauna and flora that defines our biodiversity, our spectacular and diverse coastline, and our marine ecosystems.
The Northern and Yorke NRM Board has undertaken extensive research, detailed analysis and consultation to develop the Draft NRM Plan.
The draft Plan is a visionary document with attainable goals supported by strategies and actions to achieve them. It is a truly collaborative document that has been promoted widely throughout the Northern and Yorke region.
But we want to be sure that as many people as possible have their say in the structure and implementation of our regional NRM Plan which is our roadmap to a sustainable future. Our future!
The NRM Board is presenting a series of consultation events throughout the region until 22 December, to provide a further opportunity for input and refinement of the draft NRM Plan.
Your involvement in the workshops and in the framing of the Regional NRM Plan can make the world of difference at the local level.
