The State Natural Resources Management Plan has a 50-year vision for South Australia. It sets out a framework of policies, milestones and strategies to achieve that vision for our natural resources.
Crucial to the vision are the State's eight regional Natural Resources Management boards.
The Northern and Yorke Natural Resources Management Board is one of these.
NYNRM made a significant contribution to the State Plan by identifying local natural resources management goals.
This knowledge has been channelled into the Northern and Yorke Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan, and soon will be refined and updated in a new, Regional NRM Plan to comply with the NRM Act 2004.
