Irrigators and farming groups are invited to comment on the region’s draft Natural Resources Management Plan. The NRM Plan provides a blue print for managing our regions land, water, biodiversity, marine and coastal ecosystems. Briefings will be held from 24 October – 12 November. Farming groups and irrigators are encouraged to attend the briefings and drop in sessions to provide feedback on the draft plan. The region’s economic viability depends on healthy natural assets such as soils and water and the regional NRM Plan will have major implications for the productivity of the region. Come along to our drop in or one of our briefing sessions and have a say in the future of our region.
